Theatre Nurse/Scrub Scout and Anaesthetics/Recovery Nurse Positions

Naiman Clarke currently has numerous fantastic opportunities for Theatre Nurse/Scrub Scouts and Anaesthetics and Recovery Nurses- peri-operative for a prestigious private hospital located in Adelaide.

This hospital specialises in advanced medical and surgical services, including neurosurgical and cardiothoracic surgery.

A full time permanent position now exists for a Registered Nurse with current clinical experience within the operating theatre/recovery room.

Applicants should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an extensive background within Theatre Nursing- Scrub/Scout.

Overseas applicants will be considered providing that they have worked and/or trained in either the UK or New Zealand for at least the last 3 years. We can provide assistance in 457 visas and South Australian Nursing Registration.

Description:

Acute 27 bed country hospital (approx. 2 hrs drive from Adelaide) seeking RN’s for permanent and short-term contracts. Ward covers A&E, acute med/surg, midwifery and some paeds med/surg. Midwives allocated on each shift, however general nurses would be expected to provide general care to all patients with midwives to provide specific Midwifery care. A&E is managed out of the ward and some theatre skills would be required also.

This role would suit a general medical/surgical nurse with good all-round experience. The successful candidates would need to be able to manage a workload with limited direction. Short-term contracts would be well suited to travelling nurses looking for a placement of around 3 months duration. Overseas applicants requiring sponsorship are encouraged to apply.

The hospital is part of a cluster health service and there may be opportunity for candidates to rotate around to different sites within the service.

Some relocation assistance will be provided.

The ideal candidate will posses 3 years post-grad experience with solid acute med/surg experience with good all-round experience in other clinical areas. Candidates must hold current SA Nursing registration.
