John Fawkner Private Hospital is a 147 bed private hospital in the north west region of Melbourne providing acute medical and surgical services such as orthopaedic, general surgery, acute medical, an 11 bed critical care unit and a busy Emergency Department.
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse (Division 1) to become part of the Short Stay leadership team. The successful applicant will be a dynamic and self-motivated RN with a strong commitment to developing in a management role.
The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team is essential. The applicant must have a commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused care.
The Short Stay Unit is a 12-bed ward, which cares for short stay acute surgical patients and works closely with the Emergency Department to facilitate short stay admissions for acute assessment and medical management.
The successful applicants will possess the following experience and qualifications:
* Minimum of 3years acute experience. * high level interpersonal and communication skills * strong customer service skills * demonstrated positive role-modelling behaviours * ability to develop the team to its full potential * excellent time management and prioritisation skills * ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment * ability to manage a dynamic and changing environmentEnquires:
